Erin has worked for City of Milwaukee forestry for 11 years and has been in the industry for 16 years. Over the past three years, she has served as one of three District Managers, overseeing forestry operations for the southern portion of the city. Prior to this position, Erin served for seven years as the Property Maintenance and Compliance Manager.

Erin inherits the responsibility of designing, planning, planting and managing the largest urban forest in the State of Wisconsin. This includes roughly 190,000 street trees, 120 miles of boulevards and other various green spaces within the city. The Milwaukee Forestry Services Section employs roughly 177 employees, including urban forestry laborers, apprentices, specialists, crew leaders, managers and more, all working to maintain a healthy street tree population.
“I’m committed to building a proactive, collaborative and adaptive department. In urban forestry, effective stewardship relies on clear internal alignment and strong partnerships, both within our team and with community organizations, researchers, the private sector and other agencies. Our work directly shapes the daily experience of residents, and we’re ready to meet that responsibility with momentum and purpose.”
