Consider participating in MFI

MFI (Municipal Forestry Institute) is an exciting, high-level training opportunity educating professionals in the leadership and managerial aspects of urban forestry. The week-long intensive educational program delivers a challenging opportunity to grow more successful community forestry programs.  Classes cover: leadership and management tools of program administration, coalition building, strategic thinking, program planning and public relations. Past MFI participants have included: City foresters, planners, state UF staff, tree board members and UF non-profit staff. This year MFI will be hosted in Ontario, Canada October 15-20, 2017.
