 Arborist Safety Webinar

An Arborist’s Day on a Job, White Rot, Brown Rot, and the Climber, and Tire Safety & Maintenance

The first part of the webinar covers the general tasks, duties and responsibilities of an arborist as they complete a job for a client, including: training arborists “shall” have, climber and crew responsibilities from start to finish, gear inspections, vehicle & machinery inspections, traffic control, PPE, site responsibilities, climbing operations – procedures, communications, debris handling and end of job. Part two explains brown rot and white rot and how they affect tree work and the climber. Part three covers the importance and how-tos of tire safety including: load range, tire grades, inspections and safety when changing a tire.

Tree Biology Webinar

 Tree Biology explains how a tree lives and grows, stores and uses food, closes wounds, is susceptible or resistant to disease and fights off some pests but not others. Tree anatomy (the study of the structure of tree parts), morphology (the study of the form and development of tree parts) and physiology (the study of activities and processes within and between tree parts) will be covered.
