Shively, McNee To Make Public Appearances

Tim Shively, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Forest Health specialist for West Central Wisconsin, will give a presentation titled “Forest Health for Everyone” at a meeting of the Juneau County Men’s Shed at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, in Mauston.

The event is part of a program put on by the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country, and will take place at W4890 County Hwy. N, Mauston. It is open to the public.

McNee To Speak in Oshkosh

Bill McNee, DNR Forest Health specialist for Northeast Wisconsin, will present a “Forest Health Update” during the Fox Valley Winter Landowner Conference, which will run from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at La Sure’s Banquet Hall, 3125 S. Washburn St., Oshkosh. McNee will speak at 8:30 a.m.

Visitors are asked to preregister for the event, which is organized by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension Forestry and Wildlife Program. The cost is $35 per person before Jan. 30 and $45 afterward. The fee includes a hot breakfast served at 7:30 a.m.
